Day 4 -Elevator pitch

This morning stated off with elevator pitch from each of us with tips from Brant Copper... The concept is not only to sell your idea across, but to trigger their curiousity before the elevator door open. Some of the essential point in your elevator pitch are as follows:
For (target customer)
Who (statement of the need or opportunity)
The (product name) is a (product category)
That (statement of key benefit - that is compelling reason to buy)
Unlike (primary competitive advantage)
Our product (statement of primary differentiation)

Day 2

Today's topic is networking, Tristan gave us several tips in cold email writing tips, which I find very useful and have captured some here. He has an article about this in his blog too.. http://grasshopperherder.com/

--> keep your email to 3-5 sentences... start with stating "who you are"? i.e., I'm refered to you by TechBA,...
--> write something that make sense for the recipient to respond to you.
--> state something that you and your recipient have in common, but again, keep it short.
--> Ask the right and precise questions, .. not anybody has all the time to answer all your questions.
